You hit the "Book" API again with the used TraceID due to which you got this error message. If you get any error in the booking API then you must follow the process from the beginning.

How we can pass the flight fare in the TicketLCC and HoldGDS API in case of multiple passengers?

Accepted Answer

You must pass the total fare from the farequote response for each passenger, no need to divide the fare for each passenger. For instance, if there are two passengers and the total fare is INR 16,000 (including all taxes), you need to pass INR 16,000 in the fare array for both passengers.

This error occurs when the passenger information sent in the TicketLCC API request is invalid, incomplete, or does not match the airline’s booking requirements. Common Reasons for This Issue Incorrect Passenger Name Format Passenger first name and last name must follow airline rules (no special characters, proper length, no extra spaces). Missing Mandatory Passenger Fields Required fields such as Date of Birth, Gender, Title, Passport details (for international), etc., must be provided correctly. Invalid Passenger Type Mapping Ensure passenger type is correct: Adult (ADT) Child (CHD) Infant (INF) Title and Gender Mismatch Example: Title "MR" with Gender "Female" may cause rejection. Age Not Matching Passenger Category Child and Infant age must fall within valid airline-defined limits. Special Characters or Extra Spaces in Details Avoid using symbols like @, #, $, * or leading/trailing spaces. Recommendation Kindly re-check the passenger details being passed in the TicketLCC request payload as per the API documentation and airline rules. There is no alternate option available, if you will get "IsPassportRequiredAtBook: True" in the "FareQuote" API response, then you must take the passport details of the customer to proceed for the successful booking.

Test API response and Live API responses are same, in both condition you will get the Segment array outside the FareDataMultiple in both test API and Live API. Please check if there is multple fare types in flight API search response. We suggest please close all the FareDataMultiple array and check. The response will contain two ResultIndex values: One for Outbound (OB) One for Inbound (IB) Call the FareQuote API twice: FareQuote with OB ResultIndex FareQuote with IB ResultIndex Call the Booking API (LCC/GDS) twice: Booking for OB flight Booking for IB flight ⇒ Note: Domestic roundtrip responses return OB and IB flight data in separate arrays. You must call each APIs twice to avoid any issue. International Roundtrip Flow Call the Search API. OB and IB flights are returned together. Call FareQuote API once. Call Booking API once (single slot, similar to one-way). ⇒ Note: International roundtrip responses return OB and IB flight data in a single array. You must call all APIs once because International roundtrip search responses returns one ResultIndex.

In the API response, TraceId is received as an integer (numeric) value. The same TraceId received in the Search API response must be used in all subsequent API requests (such as Farequote, Fare Rule, SSR, Seatmap, Book, etc.).

How can we get the cancellation status if the flight cancel status is returned as Pending?

Accepted Answer

If the flight cancellation status is returned as Pending after triggering the Cancel API, you must use the Get Cancel Status API to track the progress of the cancellation. The recommended approach is to call the Get Cancel Status API at regular intervals of approximately 20–30 minutes. This allows the system to check whether the cancellation has been processed by the supplier. Alternatively, you may provide a manual option/button in your application to fetch the cancellation status on demand. Once the cancellation status is returned as Success, you should stop calling the Get Cancel Status API. If the status remains Pending, continue checking as per the defined interval. Please ensure this flow is implemented accordingly to handle pending cancellations correctly.
